The Game Awards 2024 heeft de genomineerden en categorieën voor de GOTY van dit jaar onthuld, terwijl een fantastisch jaar voor gaming tot een einde komt. Dit jaar stond in het teken van DLC’s en remakes, met Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree en Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth onder de genomineerden. De winnaars worden bekendgemaakt tijdens The Game Awards 2024 op 12 december.

The Game Awards 2024 is slechts enkele weken verwijderd en de GOTY-categorieën en genomineerden zijn net bekendgemaakt. PlayStation is de meest vertegenwoordigde uitgever met 16 nominaties, terwijl dit jaar ook aandacht wordt besteed aan DLC’s en remakes.
