Xbox Play Anywhere allows you to play all published Xbox One games on your Windows 10 PC. One of its great features is that all your saved games are shared on both your PC and your Xbox One, so there’s no risk of losing your progress.

How to use an Xbox account bought on a store?

The first thing you need to do is check if you have Windows 10 Anniversary. To check that you have it installed, click on this link. You will then be directed to the following window where you need to click on “Get the Anniversary Update now“.

The next thing you need to do is go to “This PC“. You can find this by using the Cortana search bar found at the bottom of your screen, just where you can read: “Search Windows“. Simply type “PC” in the search bar.

Then click on “Downloads” in the left part of the window. Double-click on “Windows10Upgrade28084“.

If you don’t have the Windows 10 Anniversary update, this tool will help you begin with the setup.

The next step is to launch the Windows Store by either clicking the icon on the taskbar, or simply typing in “store” in the Cortana search bar.

Once the Windows Store window is open, click on the icon located at the left of the search bar (found at the upper right-hand corner). From the menu that unfolds, click on your name.

A small pop-up window will appear at the center of your screen with your own account’s setails. Click on it to have a sub-menu appear and then click on “Sign out“.

Once you”ve successfully signed out from your account, you can then sign in using the account you bought from a store on CDkeynl.nl. To do this, simply click on the small icon found at the left of the Windows Store search bar at the upper right-hand corner, click “Sign in“, then select “Microsoft Account” in the pop-up window that will show up.

Use the login data (email and password) you received from the store you bought the account on. Follow the steps to add the account to your Windows Store and you’ll get access to the games you bought.

Now that the account is added, click on the icon located on the left of the Windows Store search bar again, and this time, choose “My Library“.

A new window will pop up. Click on the game you bought then choose “Download“. In the screenshot below, I bought Gears of War 4.

Once the download has begun, click on the icon on the left of the search bar again, and follow the same procedure as before to sign out. Add your own account again by following the same steps as when you added the Microsoft account you bought. The game will now be directly available in your own personal account.
